Information Technology Services

Information technology (IT) is an integral part of environmental modeling. Integration of computational resources with geographic information systems (GIS) is critical, as this links the quantifiable aspects of environmental media with spatial data. Computational platforms can then be streamlined to minimize pre-processing of data, a practice which in turn can maximize computing efficiency as it directly imports post-processing software to maximize visualization and analysis.
