3/11/09 - Executive Director Inge accepted to 2009 LEAD Virginia class

Dr. Inge said, "I am pleased that Jorman Granger, Vice President of Northrop Grumman, endorsed my application, and I am thankful to the LEAD VIRGINIA leadership and Neal Noyes, Director of the Tobacco Commission, for sponsoring my activity in this important leadership organization."

From the LEAD VIRGINIA Web site:

"Effective leadership requires knowledge and perspective. Accordingly, knowledge incubates fresh ideas and new solutions. Perspective then informs problem-solving and decision-making. Leaders must have a broad perspective. They must understand how events in the past have shaped the Commonwealth and recognize how emerging trends and realities will shape future challenges and opportunities."

"LEAD VIRGINIA links diverse proven leaders to promote a statewide perspective and improve the quality of life in the Commonwealth."
